Antoni Gaudí died in 1926, unrecognized, run over by a tram — and a hundred years later his work stands for everything anonymity is not:
architecture that breathes, grows, and dissolves the border between nature and building.

For Fürther Glanzlichter 2026, Om Shira brings that tension to life on the façade of the historic castle at Schwabacher Straße 32. An audiovisual loop projection stages the collision between Gaudí's organic curves and the rigid, rational grid of modern architecture — a grid that cracks, is overtaken by growth, and slowly pulls the organic back into itself, only to begin again.

Not a tribute. A question: what have we built in a hundred years without him — and what might we have built instead?

Stories and Songs from the Road

An intimate evening of music and memory. Om Shira takes the stage alone — voice, acoustic guitar — to share songs and stories gathered on his travels, with a special focus on Iran: tales of exile, longing, and the quiet resilience of a culture carried across borders.

The storyline is accompanied by Om Shira's own video clips, adding a visual layer to the narrative and drawing the audience deeper into the journey.

Stripped back to its essence, this unplugged format invites the audience close, blending heartfelt storytelling with soulful, genre-blending soundscapes rooted in Persian melody and global influence.

Poetry Meets Live Electronic

An evening of two voices and one mission of whereabouts and traces. Om Shira teams up with Sacred Fool for a special collaborative show — each artist bringing their own autonomous set, poetry meeting live electronic sound, yet weaving into each other's performances in ways the audience won't see coming.

Expect live visuals throughout the night, and a first look at new material from Om Shira's upcoming EP, "Project HORMUZ."

Creativity has the power to transform dark emotions into something light and vivid.
Creativity is also a true form of prayer, bringing us closer to our divine self.

In this workshop, we focus on creativity and art alongside other pillars of The Inner Pearl, such as breathwork, somatic movement, and music. We provide painting materials and create a safe space for you to let your creative energy flow.

An amazing historic industrial hall, 100 projectors, an immersive audio system, and 5600 square meters of projection surface make this a show of superlatives!

As part of the business networking event "Übertstunde," Om Shira will premiere his audiovisual live set at Phoenix des Lumieres. As a VJ and DJ, he mixes live imagery and an electronic live set that will transport you to distant realms beyond space and time.

Daf is an ancient drum from Iran. A spiritual instrument used for ceremonies and community events.

The bass, the colorful endless variety of sounds and the natural feeling of the rhythms are unique with Daf.
Further it is a very powerful instrument, specially if a group of players come together with the clear intenion playing the audience into the state of trance!

Now, we are coming together for a community concert, grabbing rhythms of Cologne and as well persian traditional grooves to play it in the Cologne Philharmonic under the guidance of my friend and The Exile Orchestra member Syavash Rastani.
